The story is carried by the senior demon Screwtape played magnificently by award-winning actor Andy Serkis ("Gollum" in Lord of the Rings) as he shares correspondence to his apprentice demon Wormwood. All 31 letters lead into dramatic scenes, fix in either Hell or the existent world with humans--aka "the patient," as the demons say--along with his circle of friends and family unit. This Radio Theatre release also stars Geoffrey Palmer ( Tomorrow Never Dies ), Laura Michelle Kelly ( Sweeney Todd ), Eileen Page ( The Secret Garden ), and other world-class actors. Another excellent FOTF Radio Theater product
As an already established fan of the Radio Theater "Narnia" serial I was expecting to enjoy this rendition of "The Screwtape Letters". Information technology exceeded my expectations. Andy Serkis (Gollum from the "Lord of the Rings" movies) does a wonderful job equally Screwtape and hearing the voices of the other characters adds a welcome dimension that is ordinarily missing when these are read every bit but messages. The comments past Doug Gresham, songs inspired by the book and an actor portraying C.S. Lewis reading the forward and afterwards were very enjoyable added attractions as well. I recommend this to anyone only especially to those struggling with grasping a clear film of Biblical morality.

But like listening to a picture! I am actually enjoying this inventive way of storytelling! A five star cast (including the actor who played Gollum in "The Lord of the Rings" as the leading actor), with sound effects, music & a behind the scenes special documentary. Creative, thought provoking imagined glance into the schemes of the demonic against man kind. Safety for all ages to feel. And information technology really makes y'all think nearly life & how we react to daily situations. Packed with very useful lessons for all ages to learn & a lot of fun! Highly recommend!!! Nifty for gift giving also!

Well done dramatization
I've had a heck of a time reading annihilation and being able to maintain attention. So, subsequently trying to read this book, I gave upward and looked for an audio version. I found that, merely also this dramatization version. I'm glad I bought this. Information technology was easy to heed to and to follow. The audio effects and other fillers complemented it all very well.
